• Clear Intent: Before any system changes occur, the Application discloses the actions it intends to take, such as identifying or installing a printer driver.
• Easy Removal: The Application can be uninstalled using the standard Windows or Mac uninstall process.

The Application is designed to do exactly what it states: help address printer driver and compatibility issues.

• User-Initiated: The software does not run driver scans or install drivers without user action. Scans and installs occur only when you initiate them (for example, by selecting “Fix” or “Scan”).
• No Deceptive Ads: We do not use deceptive prompts, fake system alerts, or scare tactics to encourage purchases.

Data Collection

Why Shield Secure Driver (A product of Shield Secure Solutions (OPC) PVT. LTD.) Collects Device Hardware and Software Inventory Information

To provide an accurate experience, the Application performs a Local Inventory Scan.

This scan identifies your printer model, your operating system version, and installed driver versions. This information is used locally by the Application to match your device with the appropriate driver package. This inventory information is not transmitted to our servers.

• Official Drivers: We aim to source and direct users to driver links provided by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as HP, Canon, Epson, and Brother.
